민호: 어머니, 할머니 생신이 다음 주 주말데, 어떻게 해요?
民户： 妈，奶奶的生辰周末就到了，该怎么做？
Mother, grandmother's birthday is next weekend, what should we do?

어머니: 글쎄, 우선 친척들과 가까운 분들을 초대하자. 할머니, 할아버지, 큰아버지, 큰어머니, 그리고 사촌들은 물론이고. 
妈妈： 是啊，最紧要的是邀请亲戚、朋友人等。奶奶、爷爷，伯父、伯母，当然还有表兄弟姐妹了。
Well, first of all, let's invite our relatives and close friends-- Grandmother, Grandfather, your older uncle and aunt, and your cousins, of course. 

민호: 어디서 파티를 하는 게 좋을까요?
民户： 在哪儿举办派对才好呢？ Where would be a good place to throw the party?

어머니: 신라 호텔에서 하는 게 어떨까?
妈妈： 新罗酒店如何？How about Hotel Shilla?

민호: 거기 말고, 시내에 있는 조선 호텔은 어때요?
民户：别去那儿。城里朝鲜酒店如何？
Not that place, but how about Hotel Chosun in the city?

어머니: 거기가 더 낫겠니?
妈妈： 那儿更好么？Would that place be better?

민호: 네, 다음 주에 거기에서 신나는 서커스 쇼가 있다고 들었어요. 
民户： 是的。我听说下周那儿有很有趣的马戏团表演。 Yes, I heard that they have a fun circus show over there next week. 

어머니: 그럼, 거기로 하자. 큰아버지, 큰어머니 내외분하고, 둘째 큰아버지, 둘째 큰어머니께는 네가 전화를 걸어. 
妈妈： 那就在那儿办罢。大伯父、大伯母，二伯父、二伯母，由你去打电话通知他们。 
Well then, let's decide on that place. You call older uncle and aunt, and second oldest uncle and aunt. 

민호: 네, 알겠어요. 그럼 어머니께서는 작은 삼촌하고 작은 외숙모께 전화를 거세요. 사촌들을 자기들이 알아서 올 거예요. 
民户： 是的，知道了。那么，小舅(外叔、外三寸)和小婶(外叔母)就由妈妈你打电话了。表兄弟姐妹们自己会来的。
Yes, I see. Then mother, you call yonger uncle and aunt, please. All the cousins will come, having knowing of the birthday party. 

어머니: 하머니 선물은 뭐가 좋겠니?
妈妈： 奶奶的生日礼物什么才好？ What will be a good present for your grandmother?

민호: 저에게 좋은 생각이 있어요! 한복을 새로 해 드려요!
民户： 我有好主意！给她一件新韩服! I got a good idea! Let's give her a new hanbok!

크리스: 은지씨, 이번 여름에 어디에 가세요?
克里斯： 银姬小姐，今年夏天去哪儿？ Eunji, where are you going this summer?

은지: 제주도에 가요. 지금 비행기표 예약했어요!
银姬： 去济州岛。刚刚订了机票！I am going to Jeju Island. I just now reserved the ticket!

크리스: 제주도 비행기표는 얼마예요?
克里斯： 去济州岛的机票多少钱一张？ How much is it to go to Jeju?

은지: 왕복에 14만원 쯤 해요. 곧 값이 비싸질 거예요. 
银姬： 往返票一万四千韩元。很快就会变贵的。
Aruoud 14000 won for a round trip. The price will become expensive soon. 

크리스: 아, 저도 가고 싶어요. 언제 떠아요?
克里斯： 哦，我也想去哦。啥时走？ Ah, I'd like to go too. When are you leaving?

은지: 7월 24일부터 4일간이요. 그 때 휴가 낼 수 있어요?
银姬： 七月24日，共四天。那时你能请个休假么？
From July 24th, for four days. Can you take a vacation at that time?

크리스: 과장님께 한번 말씀드려 보겠어요. 누구하고 같이 가요?
克里斯：我得问课长看看。和谁一起去？
I will try to ask to our section chief. Who are you going with?

은지: 네, 제 친구들 두 명하고 같이 가요. 진희하고 성훈이에요. 
银姬： 是呀，和两个朋友一起去。珍熙和成训。
Yeah, I'm going with two of my friends, Jin Hee and Seong Hoon. 

크리스: 진희 씨만 지난 번에 만난 것 같은데...
克里斯： 只有珍熙好像上次见过面...It seems that I've only met Jin Hee…

은지: 성훈이는 제 대학 동창이에요. 아주 재미있는 친구예요. 
银姬： 成训是我大学同窗，是个很有趣的朋友。 Seong Hoon is my college friend. He is a funny friend. 

크리스: 그래요? 비행기 시간은 언제예요?
克里斯： 是吗？航班的时间呢？ Is that so? What time is your flight?

은지: 네, 24일 오전 10시 비행기예요. 아침 일찍 떠나서 놀 거예요. 
银姬： 是。24日早上10点的航班。我们一早就出发去玩了。
Yeah, the flight is at 10am 24th. We'll leave early in the morning and play!

크리스: 와, 부럽다! 저도 가고 싶어요!
克里斯： 哇，好羡慕哦！我也想去！Wow, I'm envious! I'd like to go too.

은지: 크리스, 오늘은 뭐 먹고 싶어요?
银姬： 克里斯，今天想吃什么？ Chris, what would you like to eat today?

크리스: 어제는 해물파전을 먹었으니, 오늘은 고기를 먹고 싶어요!
克里斯： 昨天吃了海鲜饼，今天我要吃肉！Since I ate seafood pancakes yesterday, I'd like to eat meat today!

은지: 그래요? 저는 어제 굴수를 먹었으니까, 오늘은 좀 다른 거를 먹어야 겠어요. 
银姬： 是吗？我昨天吃了面条，今天得吃别的什么。 Is that so? Since I ate noodles yesterday, I should eat something else today. 

크리스: 뭐가 좋아요? 혹시 튀김은 어때요?
克里斯： 吃什么好呢？也许天麸罗？ What's good? Some tempura, maybe?

은지: 튀김은 살이 쪄서 안 돼요. 야채를 좀먹어야 겠어요. 
银姬： 天麸罗不行，太油腻。我得吃些蔬菜。 Tempura is fattening. I should eat vegetables. 

크리스: 그럼, 이야채 비빔밥은 어때요?
克里斯： 那么，这个青菜拌饭怎么样？Then how about this vegetable bibimbap?

은지: 아, 그게 좋겠네요. 건강에도 좋고.
银姬： 哦，这个应该不错，对健康也有好处。 Ah, that would be good. It's good for your health as well. 

크리스: 저는 한국 음식 중 제일 맛있는 불고기를 먹을게요. 
克里斯： 我要吃烧烤，韩国最美味的食物。 I'll try the most delicious of all Korean foods, bulgogi.

은지: 불고기가 맵지 않지요.
银姬： 烧烤不辣就是了。 As for bulgogi, it is not spicy. 

크리스: 네, 저는 매운 음식을 좋아하지만 한국 음식은 정말 너무 매워요. 
克里斯： 是的，我喜欢吃辣，但韩国食物真的是太辣了。 Yes, although I like spicy food, Korean food is really too spicy. 

은지: 어떤 한국 사람들도 매운 음식은 잘 못먹어요
银姬： 有些韩国人也不怎么能吃辣。 Some Korean also can't eat spicy foods well. 

크리스: 미국에서는 제가 먹었던 음식 중 제일 매운 음식이 멕시코 음식이었어요. 
克里斯： 在美国，我吃过的最辣的食物，是墨西哥食物。 In the states, the spiciest food I have ever tried was Mexcican food.

은지: 그런데 여기에서 보니까 한국 음식이 더매워요?
银姬： 那么，由此看来，韩国食物是不是更辣些？ But you see from here, is Korean food spicier?

크리스: 네! 그런데 이제는 저도 매운 음식이 더 맛있어요!
克里斯： 是的，但我现在也觉得辣的食物更美味! Yes, but now, spicy food is more delicious to me too!

유니스: 경찰서에 갔다 을 동안에 집 좀 봐 주시겠어요?
尤尼斯： 我去警察所的时候，你照看一下房子好吗？ Do you mind watching the house for me while I go to the police station?

민호: 왜요? 무슨 일이 있었어요?
民户： 怎么啦？出什么事了吗？ Why, is something the matter?

유니스: 제가 아까 샤워를 하는 사이에 도둑이 들어와서 우리 테레비를 훔쳐갔어요. 
尤尼斯： 我刚刚在淋浴的时候有盗贼进来，偷走了我们的电视机。 Just now while I was taking a shower a burglar came in and stole our TV.

민호: 그래요? 아무도 못 봤는데요. 경찰서에 직접 가지 말고 전화를 하는 게 낫지 않아요?
民户： 是吗？我可没见到过谁。不要直接去警察所，打个电话不更好么？ Really? I didn't see anybody…Wouldn't it be better to just call them instead of going in person?

유니스: 아, 전화를 하는 게 좋겠네요. 너무 놀란 바람에 지금 제 정신이 아니에요. 
尤尼斯： 哦，打电话更好。这会儿我惊慌失措了。
Oh, I guess it would be better to call them. I'm so flustered I'm not in my mind right now. 

민호: 경찰서에 전화 한 후에 잊지 말고 보험회사에도 알리세요. 다행이네요, 테레비만 훔쳐 갔으니깐. 다음부터는 조심해야지요. 
民户： 给警察所打电话后, 别忘了通知保险公司。幸好只偷走电视机。下次得小心了。
After you've called the police station, don't forget to inform the insurance company, too. Fortunately all they stole was the TV. From now on you should be more careful. 

유니스: 네, 그래야겠어요. 고맙습니다. 
尤尼斯： 是的，一定小心。谢谢！ Yes, I'll be sure to do that. Thanks!

기자: 미국에는 언제 떠나실 예정입니까?
记者： 打算什么时候动身去美国？ When are you scheduled to depart for the United States?

외교관: 준비가 되는 대로 곧 떠날 생각입니다. 
外交官： 我想准备就绪后，马上走。 I intend to leave as soon as I get ready. 

기자: 무슨 직책으로 미국에 가시게 됩니까?
记者： 你将以什么官衔去美国？
In what official title are you going to the United States?

외교관: 주미 한국 대사관 서기로 갑니다. 
外交官：作为驻美大使馆秘书去的。 I'm going as the Secretary of the Korean Embassy in the United States. 

기자: 무슨 일을 중심적으로 추진하시겠습니까?
记者：重点将要推进什么？ What projects will you be focussing on promoting?

외교관: 한미간의 문화 교류를 촉진시키고 싶습니다. 
外交官： 我想推广韩美间的文化交流。 I want to promote cultural exchange between Korea and the United Staes. 

기자: 그러면 구체적으로 어떤 계획이 있으십니까?
记者： 那么，具体地说，有什么计划？
So, concretely speaking, what plans do you have?

외교관: 우선 미국에 한국 문화를 적극적으로 소개할 예정입니다. 
外交官： 首先，计划积极地介绍韩国文化。
Firstly, I  Plan to take positive steps to introduce Korean culture to the United States.

수영이는 대학을 졸업한 후에 한국의 큰 보험 회사에서 일을 하려고 합니다.
大学毕业后，秀英想去韩国的一家大保险公司工作。
After graduating from university, Suyong intends to work for a big insurance company in Korea. 

수영이는 요즘 한국말을 아주 열심히 공부하고 있습니다. 
秀英最近十分热心地学习韩国语。Lately, she is studying Korean very hard. 

밥을 먹는 동안에도 한국 신문을 읽고, 목욕을 하는 동안에도 단어를 외웁니다. 
吃饭时读韩国报纸，沐浴时也要记单词。
She reads the Korean newspaper while eating, and even while bathing she is memorizing vocabulary. 

여름 방학에도 아무데도 놀러 가지 않고 공부만 했습니다. 
暑假时啥地方也不去(玩)，唯用功而已。 Even during the summer vacation she did not go anywhere and only studied instead. 

요즘에는 집에서도 부모님한테 한국말로 이야기하려고 노력을 하고 있습니다. 
最近在家也努力尝试著用韩国语和父母说话。 Lately she is also making efforts to speak in Korean to her parents at home. 

어제는 밤 늦도록 공부하는 바람에 아침에 코피가 났습니다. 
昨天用功至深夜，结果一早流鼻血。 Yesterday, she had been studying late into the night, as a result she got a nosebleed in the morning. 

지난 달에는 파티에서 한국유학생을 1명 사귀었습니다. 
上个月派对上她认识了一个韩国留学生朋友。Last month at a party, she got to know an exchange student from Korea.

한국 남자친구는 수영이한테 한국말을 가르쳐 주고 언제나 수영이한테 한국말로 이야기하게 합니다. 
韩国男友教秀英韩国语，而且无论何时总是和秀英说韩国语。
Suyong's Korean boyfriend teaches her Korean and always has her spaek in Korean. 

수영이는 물론 그 친구한테 영어를가끔 가르쳐 줍니다. 
当然秀英有时也教这位朋友英语。 Of course, Suyong sometimes also teaches this friend with English.

결국 2사람은 서로 사랑하게 됐습니다. 
结果两人相爱了。As a result, two of them came to love each other. 

남자친구는 한국말을 할때 수영이가 알아들을 수 있게 천천히 말합니다. 
男友说韩国语，为了让秀英能听懂，就慢慢地说。 Whenever Suyong's boyfriend speaks Korean to her, he speaks slowly so that she can understand. 

내년에 2사람은 한국에 가서 결혼 할 계획입니다.
来年，两人计划去韩国结婚。The two of them plan to go to Korean next year and get married. 

그래서 수영이는 미국에서 자랐는데도 결국 한국에서 살게 됐습니다. 
如此，尽管在美国长大，结果秀英还是在韩国生活。 So, even though she grew up in the United States, Suyong ended up living in Korea.
